omg-i-can-sew!

hahah
ignore the bimbotic statement above,
it was just to catch your attention.

i CAN sew,
and so can everyone else.
i honestly think monkeys can too.

BUT,
i just started sewing up random pieces of cloth.
and tadah! i made a few dresses.

talk about saving money.
i can now finally cure my addiction for retail therapy
cause ive got my own boutique in my room hahahaha

#1 I dont have to tiresomely walk in and out of shops to find what i want.
#2 I dont have to worry about clothes being too small or big.
#3 I dont have to crack my head to look for a design.

cause,
i get to design whatever i want, in whatever size i fit, and feel the satisfaction of walking around in your own made clothe!
The beauty of D-I-Y

i'll post up one of the 1st simple dresses i made:

This one is made from a really silky and comfy material,
it can be worn with the frill behind:

OR with the frill in the front! :

ignore the messy room!

just an hour ago,
i made another dress, which pictures will be posted up tomorrow :)

oh i forgot to say how i got this random LOAD of materials.

believe it or not,
i found a whole paperbag of design cloths while packing my grandmas' house!
like untouched, unused, longlonglong meters of cloths!
of course i had the permission to take em,
before madly snipping and sewing away hahah

PTL for beautiful finds as such.

-sings
im rachel,
the handy dandy - snippy snappity - sewing sewish - wear my own art - girl!

save the world,
wear your own art!
